I’m so happy that Kaplan put out these puppets! And kept the price affordable! They are made for young children and are easy for them to use The sizing is smaller for their small hands (an adult with a small hand can use them, too) and because their mouths actually move, their interest lasts that much longer. The quality is not exceedingly high, but consider the price. The fun and educational value surpasses any potentially negative features of the product.

I bought this set of puppets for my almost 8 year old granddaughter for Christmas. They are simply adorable. They are even better than the picture and description. They are cuddly and the size is perfect for young hands. She was ecstatic and put on a great show for us. I couldn’t be more happy with the quality of the puppets. They were delivered in ample timing and I recommend them for any age children interested in experiencing their imagination in puppeting. You will not be disappointed.

My 2 year old granddaughter loved these puppets from the beginning. They are well made and represent a family which makes for great pretend play. I rotated with her from being the mommy, daddy, sister, and brother. But, there is one BIG flaw with these puppets. I could not, and either could she, get your hand in so that you can operate the arms and mouth. For some reason, they made the lining too small and you can’t push your hand all the way in to the arms and hands and you can’t even get close to the mouth which is made to open and close.
That being said, she still enjoyed them but I think for what they cost (or for that matter, regardless of what they cost, you should be able to operate them the way they were meant to work.

We purchased this puppet set for our neghbor’s 4th birthday. She loves them…when she can get them away from her older cousins! Well-made, easy to use with little (or large) hands,and limited only by her imagination.

The Caucasian Family Puppet Set is precious. They fit a child’s hand and are wide mouth type puppets with mouths that move and can make expressions. I’m a grandma and am enjoying the puppet set because it is a wonderful way to communicate with a grandchild. Consider it for Christmas. While amazon.com may not have them, I have also found black and hispanic puppets by the same company at other sites.
