The Bat arrived early from Jovial Toys (or Jovial Kids). I have the site and puppet company name at home. The local library had a mail box for letters to Santa. My 6 year old daughter dropped a letter asking Santa for a puppet. This library is loaded with hand puppets from the Folkmanis company. I thought they would be very expensive due to their construction and was ready to pay up to $[...] to get the Bat from this company. It cost under $[...] and was even better because it was new. Both of my kids favor “Batty Bat,” so the choice as to which puppet was easy. They still check out “Batty Bat,” and now he has a friend. Another really beautiful puppet is the Peacock. They have checked out these two as well as a Dolphin, Firefly (full size), Bobcat, 3 Groundhogs, Penguin, Hampster, Cat, Pug, and I’m sure others that I cannot remember. All were very well made (from Folkmanis) and any purchase of any of the above will not result in disappointment. The Bat came with a tag of information on Bats which was a bonus. My daughter is very rough so my son calls her Godzilla. These puppets are well made and can survive her torment.
